Melissa
Martin graduated from Indiana University Dental Program in 1984 (go big red). She had worked part-time filling in since 1986
and after Kyle was born went to full time. Melissa Martin has been the Office Manager at the Fort Wayne Pet Hospital
since 1990. She is the one that will greet you with a smile and looks forward to meeting your family. Melissa
Martin is the mother of 3, and married to Tom Martin, oldest son of Dr. Lynn Martin and the older brother of Dr. Marcus.
She loves outdoor activities, is active in Boy Scouting and is looking forward to working with American Heritage Girls, a
faith based Scouting Organization for young Ladies fully endorsed by Boy Scouts of America. She also works with her
children in 4-H, Photography, and enjoys all the wonderful new people we get to meet in our practice!
Julie Young, Receptionist
Kathy Payonk, Receptionist/Vet Assistant
Kathy has been with our practice since 1996 and graduated from Purdue university in 1987. She assists the
Doctors full time and is always available for questions while preparing your pet to see the Doctors. Kathy is the mother
of 3 active children. Her hobbies include reading, antiquing, relaxing at the lake, & going to sport activities
with her children. Kathy is a big fan of the Yorky breed and has two in her home!
Audrey is our current intern from Carrol High School. She is exploring her interest in the Veterinary Technician
position. She loves track, swimming, and is considering a future as a triathelete. We enjoy having her in our
practice & wish her well in her pursuit of higher education.
