As our practice continues to grow and some of our veterinary interns begin the next chapter of their careers, we're excited to add two Veterinary Technicians/Experienced Veterinary Assistants to our team. Since 1969, our mission has remained the same: providing quality veterinary medicine at reasonable prices while building lifelong relationships with our clients and their pets.

We are a fast-paced, privately owned small animal practice dedicated to wellness care throughout every stage of a pet's life. While our clinic still has a few charming vintage touches from its early days, our medicine is anything but old-fashioned. A major expansion in 2016 allowed us to incorporate cutting-edge technology, expand our in-house capabilities, and continue growing our exceptional team.

Many of our veterinarians literally grew up in veterinary medicine, and we're proud to care for multiple generations of families—including some fifth-generation clients who have trusted us with their pets for decades.

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or an experienced Veterinary Assistant with at least two years of clinical veterinary experience who:

·         Is passionate about providing exceptional patient care

·         Enjoys educating clients and building lasting relationships

·         Thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

·         Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic

·         Is eager to continue learning and growing professionally

·         Has an interest in wellness care, internal medicine, dentistry, and general surgery

 

Preferred Skills

Applicants should be comfortable with, or willing to develop proficiency in:

 

·         Patient restraint

·         Blood collection

·         Intravenous catheter placement

·         Digital radiography

·         Surgical preparation

·         Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery

·         Inpatient nursing care

·         Client communication and education

·         Maintaining accurate medical records

 

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $16.00-$18.00+ per hour, based on experience and skill set.

Schedule

·         Full-time

·         Four 10-hour day shifts

·         Rotating weekends (every other weekend off)
